I love movies. All kinds of movies. One of my favorite kind of movies is zombie/post-apocalyptic movies. I know I am weird, but I just love how there are unbelievable things like zombies and aliens and I love reading and watching things that couldn’t possibly happen, but do happen thanks to the magic of movies and books!

We like to rent from the redbox. Every once in awhile, we find a good, not well known movie in the redbox. This week we rented Carriers which was a great, but a very depressing movie. I loved it though. I loved how real it felt, the emotions and actions in this movie were very realistic in my opinion.

I heard about this movie months ago and wanted to see it in the theater, but it was a limited release and not playing in Utah. Then I read it will be available to rent in December. Chris Pine and Piper Perabo are the stars of the movie. You follow them around on their quest to reach a beach hotel they think will be safe and they are also trying to avoid catching this airborne sickness that kills you quickly and makes you look like a zombie by the time you are dead. They also encounter other people along the way. It honestly shows how people who are trying to survive do things they would not normally do in everyday normal life!

If you do not like this type of movie, don’t rent it. It also has some cussing and an “F” word near the end of the movie. It is also a little violent at times when certain situations arise.
